Dear Mom, I found Mario and Luigi! At last! Of all places - in Vegas!
Dear Mom, I made it to the great west of the United States. Behind me is the Grand Canyon! There was no jumping from rock to rock to be had here - this canyon is almost a mile deep! It was a fascinating sight.
Dear Mom, here I am sitting on part of the Hoover Dam with the Pat Tilman Memorial Bridge behind me. It was a fantastic sight to see what people can do - even back before we had the technology we do now people could accomplish amazing feats - harnessing rivers and re-routing them.
Dear Mom, here I am on top of Angel’s Landing at Zion National Park! It was a scary hike up involving chains and narrow paths but I made it! The view was amazing.
Dear Mom, this is me in Zion National Park, beautiful scenery behind me. I am about to embark on a difficult hike up to the top of these peaks!

Dear Mom, here I am about to party on the Las Vegas strip! I lost a few dollars but it was a good night :)
